Big Time Rush is an American boy group that is specialized in the field of pop. It was formed in 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009, they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group starred in the television series on Nickelodeon with the same name, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28, 2009, to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's first promo single, "Big Time Rush". The group recorded three albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011 as well as 24/Seven 2013. In 2014, the group stopped touring for an indefinite period that ran until 2021.
