Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was evident right from the day she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix graduated from high school and subsequently signed a pro-contract with Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. The following year, Felix won her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking an all-time junior world record running 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007, she won this title and beat her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of all events.
