Aisha Hinds is an American actress best well-known for her performances in the tv shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has displayed her versatility in acting by making outstanding appearances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was her first performance to catch her attention. However, it was her role as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) for the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season. Hind is currently filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is expected to premiere mid-2019. Her return to Bollywood for the hit Dhoom: 2 (2006) and then released Provoked: A True Story (2006) in English. The actress got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
